Puppy toilet training regression8/23/2023 ![]() I think it would help me (mentally), if I knew for sure he was teething, and that that's what's most likely causing the regression. I've tried to look at his teeth, but so far I haven't noticed any tooth that seems like it might be getting loose, or any lost teeth. He's a toy breed, so normally he doesn't really produce that much saliva, but now especially after waking up I hear him swallowing his saliva a bit more. He chews different things (like table legs, his toys, a pair of old shoes he has to play with, his other chewies), and I think he's been salivating a bit more. For example, a three-month-old Boston Terrier puppy would be. I realize the change of environment is most likely the cause of the regression, but I'm still feeling discouraged and disappointed about it.Īnother thing I'm considering that could impact his house training is that I think he might be teething, but the problem is I'm not completely sure.
